Kaduna The Kaduna State Primary Healthcare Board refutes newsreport alleging protest over five months’ salary arrears.
The newly recruited staff clarified that the recent report stated that they did not stage any protest and therefore dissociate themselves from the reported protest, clarifying that the newly recruited staff of the Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board were not involved in any protest concerning salary arrears.
In a statement Signed by Tukur Ikara PRO Medical Health Workers Kaduna State made available to news men has revealed.
“As civil servants, we understand and respect the rules and procedures guiding the public service and we remain committed to addressing any concerns through the appropriate channels.
“We also wish to clarify that the issue of salary arrears does not apply uniformly to every newly recruited staff member. The number of months involved may differ from one individual to another, depending on the circumstances of each staff member. We therefore appeal for accurate representation of the situation.
“We sincerely appreciate His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, for giving us the opportunity to serve the people of Kaduna State through the Kaduna State Primary Healthcare Board.
“We are grateful to have been among the approximately 1,800 newly recruited personnel given the opportunity to contribute to healthcare delivery in the state.
“We also appreciate the efforts of the state government towards strengthening the health sector and creating additional employment opportunities, including the ongoing recruitment initiatives.
“We wish to reiterate that we are not part of any protest and did not stage any protest over salary arrears. We respectfully encourage all concerned to verify information and ensure that reports accurately reflect the position of the affected staff.
“We remain committed to our responsibilities and to serving the people of Kaduna State with professionalism, dedication, and respect, the statement concluded.
