A 106 year old well in Batsari Local Government of Katsina State, Northwest Nigeria has been rehabilitation by Sen Abdul Aziz Musa ‘Yar’adua.
The well serves Ruma and Fadi Gurje communities in Batsari local government area. The well was in need of rehabilitation for the last 30 years and it is now functional.
On Sunday, the Senator equally instructed his Katsina LGA Coordinator Alhaji Ssni Bambale to visit Katsina Destitute Home to present an assistance to one Fatima Rabi’u who suffers from an ailment that needs surgery at Katsina Teaching Hospital.
Fatima hails from Kasai Village in Batsari Local Government Area and living at Katsina Destitute Home for 4 years in that condition.
With the assistance, now Fatima was opportuned to undergo surgery on Monday 15th January, 2024 at the Katsina Teaching Hospital.
The Officer In Charge of Katsina Destitute Home expressed appreciation and urged other elected leaders and wealthy individuals to copy from such philanthropic gesture.
