Katsina committed to better basic education delivery – Dr Magaji

Katsina State Government has restated its determination to continue to transform Basic Education in  the State, the

Executive Chairman Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board, Alhaji Kabir Magaji has disclose, Friday at the official closing of the end of first Term Academic Session at Galadima Primary school in Malumfashi Local Government.

Alhaji Kabir Magaji explained that from the inception of this Administration under Governor Dikko Umar Radda, the Government has commenced the upliftment of our dilapidated Primary schools through the new constructions and rehabilitation,  provisions of furniture, water points and toilets

The Executive Chairman also revealed that very soon the Non formal Learning Centers, Quaranic Schools, would benefit from the gesture of Better Education Service Delivery (BESDA) through the provisions of Learning shades, toilets, water points, Learning materials and mats to enhance inclusive Education in the State

He commended the efforts of some individuals in Malumfashi Local Government for complementing Government’s efforts in boosting the Education Sector in the State

Earlier, the Education Secretary of Malumfashi Local Government Education Authority Alhaji Musa Ibrahim commended Governor Dikko Umar Radda for his unrelenting efforts to develop the Education Sector

He particularly mentioned the numerous contributions of Galadima Katsina District Head of Malumfashi,Justice Sadiq Abdullahi Mahuta and Alhaji Murtala Abubakar Shala towards the development of Basic Education in the Area

In his vote of thanks the Galadima Katsina, District Head of Malumfashi, justice Sadiq Abdullahi Mahuta expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the Management of Katsina State Universal Basic Education Board for choosing Malumfashi Local Government Education Authority for the official closure of Schools in the State

Galadima Katsina also called on the State Government to continue to monitor the Educational Pursuit of those children sent to school of the gifted in Suleja Niger State

He then called on children to utilise the 3 weeks holiday with their parents in assisting them in some of their activities

Highlights of the occasion was the award of an honour to the Executive Chairman,Alhaji Kabir Magaji and the most distinguished Houses of Abdu Kaita, Galadima and Masari on inspection conducted by the Management of the School
