Ngaski introduces bye laws to improve IGR

Ngaski Local Government Area of Kebbi State has introduced bye laws to improve the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the council.

The Council Chairman, Hon. Manir Abubakar Wara disclosed this recently, while interacting with Journalists at Ngaski, Kebbi State

He said the bye laws tagged: “Ngaski Local Government Council Bye-Laws 2025” were meant to aid the progress and development of the local government.

“Today marks a significant milestone in the governance and development of our local government with the passage of our great local government bye laws of 2025 for better progress.

“These bye laws are not just documents but rather instruments of sustainable development reforms,” he assured.

The chairman thanked the councillors for their dedication and unity throughout the legislative process to actualise the bye laws for the benefit of the entire people of the local government.

“The enforcement will be guided by fairness and justice, our aim is to build Ngaski of our dream,” he noted.

The chairman said the laws were enacted in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 and Fourth Schedule to the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended) and other enabling laws.

“Ngaski Local Government Coined the Local Government Council’s Bye-Laws. These Bye-Laws shall apply to all parts and on all persons in Ngaski Local Government Area.

“The local government council bye laws shall affect; Agriculture and Natural Resources Department, Social Services Department, Works and Housing Department, Primary Health Care Department and Personnel Management Department,” he said.
