In efforts to beef up security operations,the Katsina State Police Command convened a strategic meeting with area commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and heads of tactical units to discuss and implement reforms aimed at bolstering internal security measures across the state.
The meeting was convened by Commissioner of Police, Katsina State Command, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa, psc+.

Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Katsina State Command said intensive deliberations were held to assess the existing security architecture in the command and identify areas for enhancement.

‘The collaborative effort aimed to realign operational strategies, optimise resource allocation, and reinforce coordination between various units as well as sister security agencies in the state to combat emerging security challenges effectively.
‘While addressing the gathering, the CP underscored the critical importance of adaptability in the face of evolving security threats. Emphasising the need for a proactive approach, he urged the senior commanders to leverage their expertise and experience in reshaping the security framework to ensure the safety and well-being of members of the public.
‘As part of the comprehensive restructuring plan, a series of initiatives were proposed to streamline communication channels, enhance intelligence sharing, and implement targeted training programmes for personnel. The collaborative endeavour between the leadership and operational units seeks to fortify the security apparatus, engender public trust, and uphold the rule of law.
‘This strategic engagement reflects the commitment of the Command to proactively address security concerns, foster synergy among units as well as other sister security agencies in the state, and uphold their mandate of safeguarding lives and property. The CP expressed confidence in the collective resolve to embrace change and navigate challenges cohesively in the pursuit of a safer and more secure Katsina State.’
