The presence of Senator Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’adua, representing Katsina Central, at the flag-off of the campaign for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term has further highlighted his political relevance and that of the APC in the North West.
The epoch-making event, which was held at the Ranchers Bees Stadium in Kaduna on Saturday, 24th October, 2026, was colourful and drew the attention of thousands of APC supporters from across Nigeria.
Senator Yar’adua led a large delegation of stakeholders, party executives and supporters from Katsina Central to the event.
Wherever the Senator’s supporters went, they became the cynosure of all eyes due to their discipline, uniform and coordination. They stood out from the rest, particularly at the Katsina State Liaison Office where Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda met with the Political Gladiators from the State and during the grand procession to the venue of the event.
In an interview, Senator Yar’adua reaffirmed the commitment of Katsina Central to the re-election of President Tinubu in 2027..
He said: “We are here to tell Nigerians that President Tinubu deserves a second term. The reforms are tough but necessary. In Katsina Central, we have felt the impact and we are ready to mobilize massively for APC in 2027.”
The event brought together top political figures including Governors, Ministers, Senators and other stakeholders for the official launch of activities for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign.
Political analysts described the flag-off as a yardstick for political preparations and the mobilisation of public support ahead of the 2027 general elections
- It also shows the commitment of Senator Abdul’aziz Yar’adua to actively participate in the politics of Katsina State and Nigeria at large, in order to contribute his quota towards strengthening and expanding the APC across the country.
