Kano State Police command has arrested the killers of seven members,, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Kiyawa has revealed, saying suspects identified and under investigation in connection with the incident were; Umar Auwalu 23, of Sabuwar Gandu Qtrs, who is identified as leader of the gang, Isyaku Yakubu 40, of Sagagi Qtrs, Yakubu Abdul Aziz alias Wawo 21, of Sabon Gida Sharada.
Umar Auwalu is learnt to be a nephew of Fatima Abubakar, the deceased.
He confessed to masterminding the killings.
He also admitted that the same group carried out violent attacks in Kano including the killing and burning of two housewives in Tudun Yola.
Items recovered from the crime scene include blood stained clothes, 2 mobile phones belonging to the deceased, a cutlass, a club and some cash.
