Tinubu/Kaura Support Group celebrate Tinubu/Kaura good governance

Tinubu/Kaura Support Group has organised a football competition between the four Emirates in the state to celebrate two years of good governance in Kebbi State and Nigeria.

Addressing a press conference in Birnin Kebbi on Monday, the Chairman of the group, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Muslim, who is also the Commissioner for Works, said the essence of the completion was to foster unity amongst the four emirates in the state.

He observed that sports being a catalyst for unity among the youths, “this group therefore, decided to use it to further bring people together. This is a very important competition.”

The chairman said the first position in the competition would win a trophy and a car, second position would receive a motorcycle and N500,000, third position to go home with N500,000, while the fourth position would get N300,000.

Umar Muslim added that the valuable/best player would win N100,000, highest goal scorer, N100,000 and the best goalkeeper would get N100,000.

He said: “This is not only a competition to win but also a competition to foster unity among the four emirates to celebrate the good work of Kaura.”

Also contributing, the Secretary of the group and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Muhammad Umar Tilli, said competition would commence on May 25.

He said on May 25, Argungu would take on Yauri, on May 26, Gwandu would take on Zuru, on May 27, two losers would compete for third position, while the two winners of the first match would compete for the trophy on may 28.

The secretary noted that the essence of the competition was to showcase to the world that, “we are celebrating our able governor.”

Umar Tilli urged the competitors to strictly play to the rule of the game.
