Safana community has been charged to strengthen their relationship by cooperating with each other on issues of development, the Special Adviser Local Government Inspectorate Hon. Lawal Rufa’i Safana hasm said.

He gave the charge on Friday when he received a powerful delegation from Safana local government area on a solidarity and congratulatory visit over his appointment as member of the State Executive Council.
Hon.l Safana explained that lack of cooperation has become one of the major challenges bedeviling political and moral development of any society.
He pointed out that his involvement in the civil service militated his partisanship in politics and he was known as a straight forward., transparent and very cooperative to anything developmental .
While thanking the community for the solidarity and congratulatory gesture, the Special Adviser pledged to ensure his continued assistance and support toward the development of the area and the state in general.
Earlier the leader of the delegation S A Mamuda Safana said they were in the office of the Special Adviser to pay solidarity and congratulate him on his recent appointment as member of the State Executive Council.
He also told the S A that the communities of Safana local government area knew that his appointment was informed by his vast experience in the local government administration and track records put in place while in service.
Also speaking, an elder in the community, Elder Muntari Safana described the appointment of Hon Lawal Safana as an achievement for Safana LGA considering his capacity to deliver and zealousness to serve.
Elder Muntari Safana however urged for the upgrading of Safana Health facility to a General Hospital and construct two Wards each for Zakka and Kukar Samu Health Centres. This according to him will ease their burden on traveling to General Hospital Dutsinma to seek for other Medical Services.
