The Government of Katsina State has sent 68 indigenes to China to study Artificial Intelligence and Biotechnology
In a ceremony on Tuesday, September 10, the Governor of Katsina state , Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda expressed the determination of his administration to empower the teeming youth with education and technology .
The students were given a complete scholarship package which comprised passport , visa processing fee, traveling expenses, books expenses and accommodation as parents are not expected to pay any amount of money.
He explained that for students who read Artificial Intelligence on graduation would help the state in human empowerment and I C T.
While saying students who studied Bio- Technology on graduation would help the state to transform agricultural sector, special green plant technology and environmental conservation among others.
He called on beneficiaries to be academically sound and be good ambassadors of the state and country at large, stressing that they should also be of good morals.
One of the beneficiaries of the scholarship, Armayu Nuhu from Fantua Local Government who spoke on behalf of other beneficiaries expressed gratitude God (Allah) and thanked Katsina Sate Government for the gesture
