The Federal Government has pledged to Construct a befitting e-library and students hotel in Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic, Birnin Kebbi in Kebbi State.
Minister of State for education, Dr Tanko Sununu disclosed this yesterday at 14th combined convocation ceremony of the Polytechnic held at convocation arena of the Polytechnic.
Dr Sununu who was a visitor and represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu added that the Federal Government would continue to assist federal higher institutions of the country with funds or projects that will revolutionaries the education sector.
He commended the Governor of Kebbi State, Dr Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu and management of Waziri Umaru Federal Polytechnic for organising the 2019, 2020,2021, 2022 and 2023 combined convocations which was a milestone in the history of the Polytechnic and Kebbi State.
He charged the graduands to utilise what they were taught in facing the future challenges.
A total of 4, 888 students were graduated with certificates, national diplomas and higher national diplomas in different disciplines.
