The Ahamdu Bello University Students Representative Council, ABUSRC, has honoured Alh Usman Bello Kankara, mini with “CHAMPION OF COMMUNITY
HARMONY AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION” Award
Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara, popularly known as UK Bello, is the Kanwan Katsina, District head of Ketare in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State
This was contained in a letter signed by the president of ABUSRC, Comrade Mohammed Aminu Abdul’aziz dated June 24, 2024.
Part of the letter reads “We are also honored to notify you that you will be receiving a prestigious award titled “CHAMPION OF COMMUNITY HARMONY AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION” during the summit.
“This award recognizes your outstanding contributions to security development and conflict resolution in Kankara local government, Katsina state, and Nigeria at large.
“Your tireless efforts to promote peace and harmony in your community,
despite the challenges posed by banditry and kidnapping are truly commendable.
“As an alumnus of ABU, your presence to receive this award is a testament to the impact of your contributions,
and we believe it will serve as a source of encouragement for you to continue your excellent work. ABU students see you as a role model, and your achievements serve as an inspiration to
ABUSRC said summit marks the culmination of a comprehensive training program for 2000 students of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, equipping them with essential entrepreneurship and digital skills.
It further said the presence of Kanwan Katsina at this event is highly valued, as we believe your leadership and conflict resolution expertise will greatly inspire and motivate our students and guests.
