The Chairman of Dutsinma Local Government Area, Barrister Suleiman Muhammad Namadi said projects in progress are being executed in consonance with the approved Bill of Quantity.
He made this known when the representative of the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Engineer Umar Faruk Abdullahi Shinkafi paid an inspection visit to the projects already in progress in the area.
Barrister Suleiman Namadi said his administration is executing projects in Dutsinma and Karofi Wards, though some have already been successfully completed while some are in progress.
The projects already completed include supply of two 500KVA transformers, one for Water Board and the other at Unguwar Yandaka, renovation of a Mosque in Karofi Town as well as fixing of 85 number of Solar Powered Street Lights across Dutsinma town and beyond.
Those in progress are Twin Drainages at Gangaren Biredi Injin Kuka in Dutsinma town and construction of Drift for Hayin Korama Half Bridge in Karofi Ward.
According to the Chairman represented by the Director of Administration and Finance of the Council Alhaji Iliyasu Hassan, the cost estimate of the projects were done accordingly to substantiate the actual projects on ground.
He commended Governor Radda for given LGAs opportunity to embark on projects which testified his commitment towards providing succour to the common man.
The Chairman also applauded the efforts of the state Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs under Professor Badamasi Lawal Charanchi for actively playing positive role in making Projects Implementation a reality across the LGAs.
Commenting on the already completed projects and those in progress so far inspected, the representative of the Commissioner who is the Director Works of the Ministry Engineer Umar Faruk Abdullahi Shinkafi commended the efforts of the Chairman for supplying two new brand 500KVA Transformers and the quality of other projects in progress.
The Commissioner also detected some mistakes and directed the consultant handling the projects in progress, Builder Hamza Abba Kasim to ensure effecting the corrections.
Some beneficiaries of the projects so far interviewed including District Manager Water Board, Engineer Mansir Abba, Umar Sani Karofi (Doctor), Zayyana Ibrahim Karofi Hayin Korama and Buhari Nasiru expressed appreciation to the State Governor for the projects.
