Musawa local government council in Katsina State has executed multiple projects for the improvement of people’s living conditions.
Chairman of the local council Alhaji Habibu Abdulkadir revealed this on Monday to Media Team of the state Ministry for Local Government when the it visited the area on projects assessment tour.
Alhaji Habibu Abdulkadir said his local administration had touched all aspects of life in terms of projects implementation across 11 political wards of the area
According to him, the projects executed by his administration as approved by Governor Dikko Radda and supervised by the state Ministry for Local Government, coupled with those executed during the last administration have yielded positive results.
The Chairman pointed out that the projects already executed and the proposed ones were selected based on the submissions brought forward by Councillors after careful consultations with the constituents across the 11 political wards of the area.
While assuring people of his commitment towards executing more viable projects across the area, the Chairman registered his satisfaction and appreciation over the zeal and vigour of Malam Dikko Umar Radda and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Associate Professor Badamasi Lawal Charanchi toward reviving the image of local government areas of the state.
Alhaji Habibu Abdulkadir also thanked the state Governor for playing vital role in curbing banditry and provision of Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC) and other equipments for the Security outfits in the area.
The projects so far visited by the Media Team include the ongoing total renovation work of a Mosque at GDSS Jikamshi, total renovation work of a Primary Healthcare Centre at Kurkujan, and completed construction work of a Mosque at Mangafi Village.
Others are completed construction of two blocks of two classrooms each for Gidan Gora Primary School and construction of a Comprehensive Healthcare Centre at ‘Yar Kirgi Village.
While conducting the Media Team round the projects, the Head of Building Unit who stood for the Director Works of the area Shafi’u Surajo and Deputy In -Charge of Kurkujan PHC Mustapha Muhammad expressed delight over the provision of the projects by the right leaders and at the right time.
