The Katsina state Governor Alh Aminu Bello Masari has directed for the speedy completion of the 23.2 Kilometre Kafur – Mahuta road.
Alhaji Aminu Masari gave the directives when he inspected the road project in Kafur Local Government.
The Governor was conducted around the project by the Permanent Secretary State Ministry of Works Engineer Abdul Rahman Usman.
Briefing the Governor, the project manager of Mother Cat Nigeria Limited assured him of their determination for the timely completion of the project.
In the meantime, the Governor has inspected the ongoing Sulma Dam expansion project also in Kafur local government.
The expansion was meant to increase the Dam storage capacity to over four million cubic litres of water.
The Dam is being expanded to increase many opportunities for irrigation and other domesticated activities by several communities in the area.
