he Katsina State House of Assembly Elect from Kafur Local Government, Alh Shuaibu Wakili has expressed appreciation to voters the support they gave him during Saturday election.
In an interview with Kunnen Gari in Kafur, headquarters of Kafur Local Government after declaring him winner, Wakili said he was full of appreciation for support of all and promise to deliver on the promises of the APC in the state.
He said he was committed to serving the interest of his people and ensure his representation would nake the desired impact on his constituency and Katsina State.
He therefore called on his constituents to feel free to approach him with suggestions that will bring better life to the Local Government.
On the role of the critical stakeholders in the political activities in the local government, Hon Wakil said they have succeeded in entrenching democracy on the principles of equity, justice and fairness and their footsteps will remain indelible for many years to come.
Political leaders such as Rt Hon Bello Masari, the governor of Katsina State, Alh Bello Kagara, Sarkin Yakin Daneji, Hon Nafiu Lawal Kurigafa, Hon. Bature Umar Masari and many others have developed democracy in the area and have built bridges of. solidarity within the local government and beyond.
He therefore urged politicians to emulate them to avoid politics of divide and rule.
Voting and other election activities were peaceful and orderly and recorded impressive turnout throut the local government area.
