2023 Presidential Election: Atiku, PDP protest in Abuja

To demonstrate dissatisfaction against  result of the just concluded presidential election they believed to have been rigged in favour of Bola Tinubu of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)

the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar is currently leading a massive protest against the conduct of the 2023 general elections in Abuja.

The protest kicked off from Wadata House the party secretariat located at Maitama in Abuja was being attended by large party supporters wearing black attire

The protesters were heading toward the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to call for the cancellation of the elections.

Also at the protest were the Sokoto State Governor. Aminu Tambuwal, National Chairman PDP, Iyrochia Ayu, Senator Olujimi and others

 Security operatives including Nigerian police and the Department of State Security (DSS) have been deployed to maintain law and order.

Some of the inscriptions on their placards read; Our Vote Must Count; We Say No Injustice and Fraud; Democracy Under Threat In Nigeria; Save Our Democracy From INEC among others.
