Abuja-Kaduna train services resumes

The suspended Abuja – Kaduna train services will resume Tuesday, January 31.

The announcement was contained in release signed by Niyi Alli, Director Operations on behalf of the management.

The statement further said ” the Board and Management of The Nigerian Railway Corporation is pleased to announce the recommencement of the Abuja Kaduna Train Service which was suspended on Friday 27th January 2023 due to the derailment that occured at Kubwa Station on the same date.

“Subsequently, the Service will resume on Tuesday 31st January 2023 with the following daily schedule;

        * AK1 departs Idu at 0700

        * KA2 departs Rigasa at 10.15

AK3 departs Idu at 13.20hrs

        * KA4 departs Rigasa at .16.30.

“However on Wednesdays only  AK1 Will depart Idu at 0700 and and KA 4 will depart Rigasa at 16.30.

“The Corporation once again regrets any inconvenience our esteemed passengers may have experienced as a result of the temporary suspension of the service.”
