There are reports of thuggery attack on the campaign train of the the Katsina APC gubernatorial candidate, Dr Dikko Umar Radda at Danmarke in Kankara Local Government, Wednesday
A press release signed by Ahmed Abdulkadir, Director, Media and Publicity, Katsina State APC Campaign Council.and made available to newsmen said the thugs were wielding dangerous weapons and started hitting and stoning the vehicles in the convoy, smashing their glasses.
They also broke the posters and billboards of the APC candidates, setting them on fire in the village.
Dr. Radda and his entourage were passing through the village during his campaign tour of Ƙanƙara Local Government Area when the unprovoked attack occurred.
Ɗanmarke village is home to the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate in Katsina State, Senator Yakubu Lado Ɗanmarke.
The statement called on security agents to investigate the cause of the unprovoked attack and act accordingly.
