These and many more are the readings on some placards carried by members and supporters of the All Progressives Party, APC when its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu visited the ancient city of Kano, Wednesday.
The city witnessed thousands of supporters of the All Progressive Congress,APC from the 44 local governments who trooped out to attend the Campaign rally of the Presidential flag bearer of the party.
The main event took place the Sani Abacha Stadium at Kofar Mata but was preceeded by a road show, which started from the Kano State Government House in a journey of 4 kilometers that span hours instead of the usual ess than 10 minutes on an ordinary day took close to 3hrs.
There was heavy gridlock but security and traffic agencies were on to divert routes to allow for free movement for campàigners and commuters to go on their businesses.
A lot of party supporters were dressed in the party’s red, blue green and white colours with broom insigma. and caps with the Tinubu logo were won.
There was a lot of music from bands and local musicians entertaining people.
Tinubu finally arrived the venue in a double decker open luxry bus dressed in the APC coloured traditional gown wearing brown cap with the insigma of figure 8 turn sideways indicating “breaking the chain” alongside the party Chairman Abubakar Adamu, Senate President, Ahmed Lawan, DG Tinubu Campaign Council Solomon Lalong who is the governor of plateau state, Governor of Kano state Umar Ganduje and many other governors and party stalwarts.
Due to the massive crowd of party supporters Tinubu was urged to speak from the standing Luxry bus but refused to do so and struggled his way through the crowd to the erected poduim to deliver his speech.
