Police Operatives of the Zamfara State police command have succeeded in the arrest of four foot soldiers of the dreaded bandits kingpin Bello Turji and one other foot soldier of a notorious Bandits Kingpin Halilu Kachalla in Zamfara state.
The police public relations officer (PPRO) SP Mohammed Shehu revealed, Wednesday while parading the terrorists at the police headquarters, in Gusau
SP Shehu said, the tactical Operatives also succeeded in killing one of the bandits as they foiled an attempt by the terrorists on villages in Gusau and Maru local government areas and recovered 2 AK-47 rifles and 104 live ammunitions.
The PPRO said, they apprehended another bandit who belongs to Halilu Kachalla ‘s camp that terrorize innocent citizens along Tsafe – Kucheri – Yankara road as well as people of Mada, Wonaka, Ruwan Bore and other Villages in Zamfara state and other neighboring states.
He noted that, the police also arrested an informant from Kaura Namoda Local government area who collaborates with bandits to kidnap or rustle cows in Kaura Namoda, Shinkafi, Birnin Magaji and Zurmi local government areas.
