The approval was given by the FCT Minister, Mallam Muhammad Musa Bello, effective October 7th, 2022.
Dr. Dan-Hassan holds Bachelor’s degree in Applied Geology (ABU, 1987); M.Sc. in Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology (Ile-Ife, 1993) and PhD. degree in Hydrogeology (FUTMX, 2013), Professional Certificates from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden and UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, Delft, Netherlands.
With three decades of field experience in Mineral and Water Resources, Sanitation and Hygiene sectors, Dr. Dan-Hassan is poised to demonstrate his dexterity in making impacts in ‘WASH’ and related sectors in the FCT.
Prior to the current appointment, he was a Deputy Director (2013) in FCT Water Board and Acting Executive Director, FCT RUWASSA (2020).
