The planned Southern Kaduna visit by People’s Democratic Party, PDP by the presidential candidate of the party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has been cancelled till father notice.
This was revealed in statement made available to newsmen in Kaduna, Saturday. by the state party chairman, Hon. Hassan Hyat
The visit was earlier scheduled for Sunday.
Hyat explained that the planned visit was postponed as a result of consultations with political stakeholders and religious leaders in the zone, who agreed that a new date would be most appropriate for the planned visit.
“The PDP regrets any inconvenience this change may cause and assures the good people of Southern Kaduna of Atiku’s commitment to meeting with the zone’s leaders and people as soon as a new and convenient date is fixed,” the statement said in part
