There is great hope for Katsina State state under Governor Dikko Radda, a man with visionary leadership and capacity to take the state to greater heights.

This was observed by chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Katsina State, Alhaji Sabi’u Sa’idu Mahuta, during a press conference shortly after the swearing-in ceremony of the 20 members of the state Executive Council and 18 Special Advisers at the Peoples’ Square in Katsina on Tuesday, August 1, 2023.

Mahuta, who is an Executive Director of AA Rano Nigeria Limited, and Sardaunan Danejin Katsina said when the governor unveiled his vision and strategy for the state amidst enormous challenges, he personally became consoled from his inspired utterances.

“Prior to Dr Radda’s declared intention to contest the governorship of the state, I, initially was not in his camp. But from what I heard, and saw him mounted horses, went round the state to campaign, I couldn’t resist jumping camp from where I was, to join his team. I was convinced that Radda meant well for the state,” he disclosed.

On the plans for Katsina state by the new administration, Mahuta has this to say; “Successive governments in the state have done their best and I have no reason whatsoever to faults them. This is because the strategy that could be effective today may not be effective tomorrow.  Strategies are timely and dynamic.

“Frankly speaking, with what Dr. Radda has on the table for Katsina State, I believe there is great hope for us, the citizens,” he added; calling on all and sundry in the state to always put the governor in their prayers.

On the new constituted executive council of the state, the chieftain said when he saw the list, he was convinced that the governor meant business  particularly when he did not give much emphasis on political participation and contributions in his selection of people that would form the council, rather emphasis was given to people with proven integrity, experience, capacity, competency and commitment to move the State forward.

According to Mahuta, it couldn’t have been easy for the governor because I know how difficult it is for him to have jettisoned political participation and contributions during the selection of members of the executive council.

He also noted that it is not only important to select good members to help the governor achieve his plans for the state, but it is also important to have clear strategy of what the governor wants to do for the state and how to go about it.

“What is more, than to congratulate this visionary leader who we can say so far proven his seriousness, willingness and intention to take the state to the next level?
