The People Democratic Party, PDP chairman in Kaduna State Hon Hassan Hyet has attributed the success recorded by the Party in the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly elections to strategic planning and massive support from party critical stakeholders, supporters and voters in Kaduna State.
Hon Hassan Hyet made the remarks after receiving an award of excellence from Arewa Publishers Forum of Nigeria in his his office in Kaduna Tuesday, saying the award is for PDP as the success recorded was ensured by all members and supporters of the party.
The award was presented by the National president of the forum, Dr Sani Mohammed Garba on behalf of the forum.
Earlier, Dr Sani said the forum decided to honour him based on the quality leadership he has exhibited at various levels of his career, recalling his stewardship as minister of aviation and he was able to steer the PDP to its present position in the state, winning three senatorial seats and a sizable number of the members of yhe House of Representatives.
Hon Hyet expressed appreciation for massive support the PDP receives from voters in Kaduna State and assured that the party will continue to hold them in high regards and provide them with quality leadership, policies and programs that will improve their lives.
The high profile politician called on youth to to remain resolute and steadfast in political undertakings but should avoid violence and political thurgery. They should perssue their interest through lawful means.
On the litigation regarding the March 18 gubernatorial and state assembly elections in the state, Hon Hyet said they are in court seeking justice and whoever won the elections through the legal means should have it.
