The Tinubu/Dikko Assured 2027, TDA2027, has supported 1,040 small business owners across Katsina State with N30,000 each to boost their businesses.

The Coordinator of the Group, Hon. Ibrahim Khalil Aminu disclosed this during a press briefing in Katsina recently, while highlighting the achievements of the group across the state.

Hon. Khalil further revealed that the group had earlier supported one Izala Islamic School in each of the 34 LGAs based on their needs, adding that 30 Islamic School Teachers in each LGA also received N30,000 each as support.

He said the next phase of the group’s program is to support Darika Islamic Schools in the same manner as Izala, and to commence the second round of empowerment for small business owners across the state.

Hon. Khalil also disclosed that TDA2027 paid JAMB fees for 2,300 students and trained over 6,000 students on Computer Based Test, CBT.

He said: “If you go to Sabuwar Unguwa Quarters in Katsina Metropolitan, there is a newly consolidated Primary Healthcare Centre which Katsina Local Government Council did. The existing hospital facilities were provided by TDA2027.”

On social welfare, the Coordinator said the group has provided a number of motorized boreholes and a reasonable number of street solar-powered lights across some quarters in Katsina, Funtua and Daura Senatorial Districts.

Speaking on misunderstandings among APC supporters, Hon. Khalil said such issues would be resolved ahead of the elections to ensure unity.

He noted that even a blind person can see that the Katsina State Government has done what was not expected. He added that while criticism is normal in politics, anyone being fair will admit that the APC government has done it.
