The policies and approaches of Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State have been endorsed and appreciated by critical stakeholders in Ikara Local Government.

The commitment was announce by Professor Dauda Ishaya during a media briefing at the Secretariat of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NIK Kaduna, Monday.

Reacting to reports and allegations surrounding developments in Ikara concerning the All Progressives Congress, APC, the forum described them as as false insinuations aimed at creating confusion among the people.

Professor Ishaya, who described himself as a stakeholder and member of the Elders Forum in Ikara LGA, said the gathering was convened to publicly reaffirm the loyalty and support of the people of Ikara to the present administration in Kaduna State.

According to him, the people of Ikara remain firmly behind Governor Uba Sani’s leadership and would continue to support every decision taken by the government in the interest of peace, development and unity.

“We are here purposely to indicate our profound gratitude and total support to the government of Uba Sani in Kaduna State and to the entire government of Kaduna State,” he said.

He noted that various reports circulating about the affairs of Ikara Local Government were misleading and did not reflect the true position of the people, stressing that proper investigations would expose the truth behind such allegations.

Professor Ishaya explained that the elders and stakeholders decided to address the public in order to clear the air and prevent residents from being misled by what he described as unfounded narratives.

The APC chieftain further commended the Kaduna State Government for developmental projects executed in Ikara, particularly the upgrade of the General Hospital in the area.

According to him, the hospital, which was previously in poor condition, has now been transformed into a modern health facility comparable to standard national institutions.

He also praised the government for addressing water challenges affecting rural communities in Ikara, saying the intervention had significantly improved access to potable water across the local government.

“Today, the issue of water scarcity in Ikara has become a thing of the past,” he stated.

Professor Ishaya said the unity among elders and stakeholders in the area was a reflection of the cooperation and support the government had continued to extend to the people of Ikara.

He added that the gathering of prominent elders under one platform demonstrated their collective resolve to work together for the progress of the local government and the success of the APC-led administration in Kaduna State.

He assured the Kaduna State Government of the continued support and loyalty of the people of Ikara, expressing optimism that the administration would sustain ongoing developmental efforts across the area.
