The Department of Local Government Inspectorate of Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has expressed worry over the false information provided to it by the Director Works of Dutsi LGA.
The false information was related to the rehabilitation and renovations work of a health facility in Sobashi Village of the LGA which was not completed, but the director deliberately provided false information to the LG Inspectorate indicating that the project was completed.
The scenario followed the inspection visit to Balare Village by a Team led by the Special Adviser LG Inspectorate Hon. Lawal Rufa’i Safana alongside Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Alhaji Mas’udu Banye to ascertain the authenticity of the information provided by the Director which was found to be false.
The Special Adviser therefore expressed dismay over the negative action of the director and summoned them to his office with immediate effect.
