Police hands over 165 immigrants to NIS in Kebbi

Kebbi State Police Command has handed over one 165  suspected Immigrants to the State’s Command of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)

This was disclosed by the Command’s Spokesman, SP Nafi’u Abubakar in a statemen issued Tuesday in Birnin Kebbi.

SP Nafiu said the suspects were apprehended at Kuwait area in Birnin Kebbi metropolis., saying their apprehension was carried out  by the combined team of detectives attached to the State’s Criminal following a tip off.

 The statement further indicated that in the course of investigation, it was discovered that, all of the apprehended suspects hailed from Francophone countries namely; Burkina Faso, Benin, Niger,  Mali and Ivory Coast republicans.

It however noted that,  all the suspects who are residing in Nigeria without any valid documents and allegedly involved in Qnet Ponzi scheme have been handed over to the Kebbi State Immigration office for investigation and further necessary action.
