The Kaduna State Commissioner of finance, Shizzer Joy Nasara Bada has been arrested by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) at a Lagos airport.
The development has sent jitters among – Rufa’is political camp especially those who served under him.
Shizzer Joy Nasara was also the former Accountant-General and Finance Commissioner during Nasir el-Rufai’s administration
She was reportedly attempting to flee the country when ICPC operatives apprehended her, raising suspicions of a potential escape in light of mounting corruption allegations.
Sources indicate that the ICPC had been tracking Bada’s movements after receiving intelligence suggesting that she might attempt to leave the country to evade investigation.
