Kebbi state Commissioner of Police, Bello M Sani has presented IGP Group Life Assurance Scheme cheques amounting to the sum of Five Million, Eight Hundred and Forty Seven Thousand, two Hundred and Sixty Eight Naira, Five kobo (N 5,847,268:5) to the families of 4 deceased Police Officers, who died in active service in the state.
The presentation which held at brief ceremony in his office at the Command headquarters in Gwadangaji in Birnin Kebbi, CP Sani said it was the IGP’s kind gesture and magnanimity not compensation to the life of the officers lost, but aimed at supporting their families as well as boosting the morale of the serving ones to do more in fighting crimes in the State.
He advised the beneficiaries to judiciously utilize the token in pursuing the academic career and other financial needs of their children.
