Na’Allahu commends Gov. Radda for LG reforms

The administration of Gov Dikko Umar Radda of Katsina State has brought light on the activities of local government councils in the state.

The Chairman of Mai’adua local government council Alhaji Mamman Salisu NaAllahu revealed this while conducting the Media Team of the state Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaicy Affairs round some projects executed by his administration in the area.

The Director Administration and Finance of the Council Alhaji Mansir Abdullahi who stood for the Council Chairman explained that Radda administration is playing active role in securing funds for local government councils across the state to execute meaningful projects for the people at the local level when compared with past administrations in the state.

Na’Allahu said with this development, his administration was opportuned to execute projects that touch all aspects of life of the common man.

He said the projects ranging from electrification, Health, rural road, education, Islamic among others have been executed successfully.

The Media visited a completed construction work of about 1,700 Metre long drainage around Mai’adua town and completed construction work of 850 Parameter of wall fencing of Mai’adua Police Divisional Headquarters.

Others are completed general repairs of a 500KVA Transformer and 520  Metre long drainage at Kwangolam, Latrite filling and placing of electricity poles along Gwajo Gwajo to Unguwar Jibo and Ring road construction work in Mai’adua town.

The Chairman said the funds secured to LGAs in the state for projects implementation are being approved by the state Governor through the state Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs from out of the LGAs statutory grants which according to him are being managed accordingly.

He commended the efforts of the state Governor Malam Dikko Umar Radda for showing concern on the flights of the common man and applauded the role being played by the state Ministry for LGAC .
