On Friday, 13th November 2026, a team will undertake an inspection visit to Tsafe to assess and identify a suitable site for the proposed Federal University Teaching Hospital, Tsafe (FUTH Tsafe), Zamfara State.
This inspection marks an important step towards the actualisation of the proposed Teaching Hospital, which is expected to strengthen healthcare delivery, promote medical education and research, and improve access to quality specialist medical services for our people, Sen Ikira Aliyu Bilbis, Senator Representing Zamfara Central Senatorial District has said.
The establishment of FUTH Tsafe will also create employment opportunities, promote professional training, and stimulate socio-economic development, not only in Tsafe but across Zamfara State and beyond.
