The Senator representing Katsina Central, Senator Abdul’aziz Musa Yar’adua, has supported victims of the recent flood disaster in Radda community in Charanchi Local Government Area.
The community was recently affected by heavy downpour which led to loss of lives. Houses and properties worth millions of Naira were also destroyed.
On Saturday, August 29th, 2026, the Senator sent a high-powered delegation led by Alhaji Tanimu Garba Abdulkadir to commiserate with the District Head, the victims, and the entire people of the district.
On arrival, the representative of the District Head, Alhaji Kabir Bare-Bari Radda, received the delegation at the District Head’s Palace.
The leader of the delegation, Alhaji Tanimu Garba Abdulkadir, conveyed the Senator’s sympathy to all those affected by the disaster. He also offered prayers for protection against future occurrences.
Alhaji Tanimu described Senator Yar’adua as a compassionate leader who always stands with people facing sudden hardship.
The Senator donated N2M, as relief support to the victims, to help ease the burden caused by the unexpected disaster.
He prayed to Almighty Allah for ease and protection from such disasters, and urged the community to accept every trial as decreed by Allah.
While receiving the N2M donation, the representative of the Bare-Bari of Katsina and District Head of Radda, Alhaji Kabir Bare-Bari Radda, expressed appreciation.
He commended Senator Abdul’aziz Yar’adua for his concern and support to the people of his senatorial district.
Alhaji Kabir Bare-Bari further stated that Senator Abdul’aziz Yar’adua is a true son of the Bare-Bari household who protects its dignity. He said they will not fold their arms and watch him suffer politically.
He added that the Senator belongs to them, and the people of Radda District will re-elect him for a second term in the 2027 general elections.
Also speaking, the APC Chairman of Charanchi Local Government Area, Hon. Abdullahi Dangogo, described the Senator’s gesture as one that affects the entire community.
He cited examples of the Senator’s continued support to the people, even before he became APC Chairman of Charanchi.
In his remarks, a chieftain of the APC in the area, Engineer Isah Bello Radda, offered special prayers for the Senator and for all those affected by the disaster.
Members of the delegation included Alhaji Umaru Faroukh AK, Alhaji Shehu Kafinta, Alhaji Umaru Mati, Abdullahi Hassan, Alhaji Aminu, Nura Ibrahim, and Kabir Yamel.
