Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, representing Katsina Central Senatorial District in the Senate, has expressed satisfaction with the increasing acceptance of the All Progressives Congress, APC, not only among the people of Katsina Central Zone, but across the entire state and the country.
He stated this on Wednesday during a grand ceremony for the reception of a staunch PDP member, Hajiya Rashida Yahaya Gwanda, into the APC in Jibia town, the Headquarters of Jibia Local Government Area.
Senator Yar’adua, who was represented by a delegation led by Alhaji Umaru Faroukh AK, said the kind of progress the APC is recording at all times is a great source of pride and a testament to the party’s style of leadership.
According to Alhaji Umaru Faroukh AK, the return of Hajiya Rashida Yahaya Gwanda to her political home, the APC, is a clear indication that the APC is a mother party and a fountain of compassion.
“The good works APC delivered since taking over the leadership of the state are countless. It has been work, work, work, with no slowing down,” Faroukh AK said.
Faroukh AK commended Hajiya Rashida Yahaya Gwanda and the thousands of women who followed her in returning to the APC. He urged them to remain committed and hardworking, and to continue showing love and bringing joy to the people, so that “the effort will be worth the reward.”
Umaru AK also listed some of the key projects executed by Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua in the areas of security and improving the wellbeing of the people of Jibia Local Government Area. He said the people of the area have testified to this and prayed for God’s blessings upon him.
In her remarks, Hajiya Rashida Yahaya Gwanda described Senator Yar’adua as a true and complete representative who is carrying out his duties with fairness.
Rashida Gwanda commended the Senator for his compassion and empathy towards the needy, and for his efforts to bring happiness to the people, in addition to the primary job he was elected to do, which is providing effective representation in the Senate.
She stated that it was due to the good character of the Senator, Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, and the Member representing Jibia and Kaita Federal Constituency, Hon. Sada Soli, that attracted her and the large number of women with her to take the decision to return to the APC, the party of “Alheri – Goodness.”
She pledged to work hard alongside the women with her to ensure the APC records victory from top to bottom in the 2027 elections.
The Chairman of Gwagware Foundation, Alhaji Yusuf Ali Musa, also expressed joy over the defection of Rashida Gwanda and her supporters from the PDP to the APC. According to him, this is a clear sign that in Jibia, it is APC all the way, and by God’s grace, the APC will win the 2027 elections.
Alhaji Yusuf Ali Musa urged all APC stakeholders to give these women and their supporters support and to listen to the issues they will bring forward, in order to achieve success.
Speaking on Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, especially after hearing about some of the projects he has executed in Jibia area, Alhaji Yusuf Ali Musawa described him as a gift from Allah to the people of Katsina Central Senatorial District.
He challenged those who think otherwise in Katsina Central Zone, saying:
“To those who doubt, the field is open and the horse is ready.”
