This is due to heavy down pour recently in the area.

While discussing with some farmers expressed fear of planting crops that requires large fertiliser inputs  due to high cost of fertilizer,  seeds and insecticide.

According to them,  farmers are desperately in need of government intervention for bringing down the prices of farm inputs for the small and medium farmers for bumper harvesting as well as food security across the nation.

On the issue of insecurity affecting some local government areas in the state,  farmers appalled to the government and other security agencies to redouble their efforts towards tackling the menace especially in the areas of Matazu and Musawa respectively.
