Notable milestone in education, security, and infrastructural development has been recorded by the Kogi State Government
Alhaji Ismaila Isah, the Special Adviser on media to Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo stated this during a media parley at the Secretariat of the Nigerian Union of Journalists ,Kaduna Council.
He said the administration of Ahmed Ododo has remodeled 788 public schools while 13,000 adolescent school girls received intervention of over half a billion naira to enhance standard of education in the state.
Ismaila Isah further explained that as part of the Kogi State Government education revitalisation program it has constructed and commissioned three out of the nine model school planned for each of its federal constituencies for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education while 88 primary healthcare centers were also revitalized.
He emphasized that Kogi State is among the states that secured approval of the Office of the National Security Adviser to procure and operate combat air drones in fighting criminal activities and enhance security across the state.
