Emir of Katsina charges Border Demarcation Committee to be upright

The Katsina State Districts Border Demarcation Committee has  paid an advocacy visit to the  Emir of Katsina His Royal Highness Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman in his palace on Thursday.

The Chairman of the Committee Hon. Lawal Rufa’i Safana explained to the Emir that they were at his palace to brief him on the terms of reference of the Committee and seek for his blessings.

Hon. Safana who is also the Special Adviser on Local Government Inspectorate said the Committee can not continue with the task without the blessings of the Royal Father.

He appreciated the fatherly role being played by the Emir particularly on critical issues  affecting his subjects.

The Chirman therefore thanked the Emir for honouring the visit particularly the reception accorded members of the Committee.

In his response, the Emir of Katsina Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman who  appreciated the visit  registered his satisfaction on the composition of the Committee.

The Emir was particularly happy to see Hon. Lawal Rufa’i Safana as the Chairman of the Committee, which according to him the appointment indicates Gov  Radda administration readiness to showcase objectivity in tackling critical issues in the state.

While describing the composition of the Committee as ‘All Inclusive,’ the Emir charged the Committee to ensure objectivity in the line of its assigned duty.
