Kano Deputy Governor Resigns

The Kano State Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has reportedly resigned from office yesterday.

A verbal statement to media by the  spokesperson Habibu Mohammed Saleh stated that Comrade Aminu Abdussalam has taken the decision to ensure seamless process of governance in the state and focus on the 2027 political activities.

Confirming this development to the media, the Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Shuaibu corroborated the earlier announcement by Kwankwasiyya movement. His words “I want to unequivocally confirm to you that His Excellency, Deputy Governor has stepped down from his post”.

While Kwankwasiyya Spokesperson, Habibu Mohammed Saleh further averred that the State Government and Kano State House of Assembly were in receipt of the resignation letter, there is no official confirmation up to the time of filing this report.
