The Government of Chad Republic has honoured Ambassador Mamman Nuhu to the rank of Commander of the National Order of Chad,.
The honours, Commander of the National Order of Chad was confered on Ambassador Nuhu by Prime Minister Allah-Maye Halina on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.on behalf of the President of the Republic of Chad Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno.
This distinction rewards his commitment to leading the Lake Chad Basin Commission to strengthen regional cooperation in addressing security and environmental challenges in the Lake Chad region.
During the ceremony, the Nigerian diplomat lauded the quality of the partnership with Chad and reaffirmed his willingness to continue his work towards stability and development of the lake basin.
