Senator AbdulAziz Musa Yar’adua has sponsored another Free Medical Outreach under the consultancy service of Conclusion Eye Care Ltd.for the benefit of people of Katsina Central Senatorial District.
The gesture was for 830 people suffering from sight challenges from across the 11 local government areas of the Senatorial District.
Out of the 830 eye patients, 130 were for those suffering from Cataract and need surgery, while 700 were those that need medication or reading glasses.
Ten eligible eye patients were drawn from across the 10 LGAs, while 30 of such patients were allocate to Katsina LGA making a total of 130 patients.
With regards to 700 patients that need medication or reading glasses from the 11 LGAs, each of the 10 LGAs brought 50 patients, while Katsina LGA has 200 considering its population.
The Two day Free Medical Outreach which commenced on Friday considered patients from 6 LGAs, which include Rimi, Charanchi, Batagarawa, Jibia, Kaita and Katsina.
The programme will on Saturday 14Th February, 2026 round up with categories of eye patients from Dutsinma, Kurfi, Batsari, Safana and Danmusa LGAs.
At the flag off ceremony of the programme, Senator AbdulAziz Musa Yar’adua who was represented by a member of the Senator’s Central Working Committee Hon. Mu’azu Lemamu Tsagero explained that his dream was to always assist and support people towards securing their future.
Senator Yar’adua stated that the gesture was also to reciprocate the efforts of the State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda in the health sector considering his unwavering commitment to enhance good healthcare services to the common man across the state.
The Senator therefore assured his constituents of his continuous crusade against insecurity, support to the vulnerable and ensure good representation on the mandate he was elected for.
Also speaking, a closed political associate of the Senator Alhaji Tanimu Garba Abubakar expressed appreciation over the successful take off of the programme, saying it was the third sponsored by the Senator, assuring people of Senator Yar’adua’s zeal to serve better.
On his part, the leading Consultant Alhaji Salisu Sherif alongside his counterpart Dr. Umar Ahmed charged other elective officials to emulate the Senator and advised beneficiaries of the programme to always appreciate Senator for identifying with them.
Some of the beneficiaries registered their appreciation and prayed to Allahu SWT to continue guiding, protecting and show mercy to the Senator.
Other signatories that witnessed the event include representative of Katsina Central APC Zonal Chairman Alhaji Yahaya Asasanta, Alhaji Umar Faroukh AK, Alhaji Shehu Kafinta, P R O APC Katsina LGA, Abdullahi Hassan among others.
