President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commended the efforts of Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina State for doing so much in tackling insecurity in an attempt to defending the freedom, liberty and the commonwealth of the state and the nation in general.
A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy Bayo Onanuga disclosed that the commendation was made by the President on Monday while declaring open the Second National Economic Council Conference at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja.
He described the security threats as unacceptable and alien to the nation’s core values, saying terrorism and banditry will surely be defeated.
The President assured Nigerians of his administration’s resolve to strengthen the country’s security forces and restore peace and stability across affected communities, stressing that all hands must be on deck to find an immediate solution.
The President also highlighted expanded social investment and human capital programmes targeting vulnerable households, youth, women and small businesses alongside grassroots focused initiatives under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
