Katsina recruits 2,000 medical personnel, 2,000 teachers

He explained that the recruitment of medical personnel forms part of the administration’s commitment to ensuring efficient healthcare services and addressing staff shortages in hospitals and primary health centres.

The Governor also revealed that the state government plans to employ approximately 2,000 teachers to fill vacancies arising from retirements in the education sector.

“This recruitment exercise is aimed at addressing manpower gaps in our schools and ensuring that every child in Katsina has access to quality education,” Governor Radda stated.

The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dikko Radda, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed said in a statement on Feb  the Gov Radda emphasized that the recruitments align with the administration’s broader agenda of enhancing public service delivery and creating employment opportunities for youths and qualified professionals.urging the verification and recruitment committees to conduct their work with transparency, fairness, and professionalism.

He called on residents of the state to cooperate with government efforts, noting that well-staffed health and education sectors are critical to Katsina State’s overall development.

The recruitment exercises are expected to commence in the coming weeks following the verification process.
