The planned strike action bythe Nigeria Labour Congres, NLC has been suspended.
This was announced by Comrade Jubril S Adebanjo Secretary FCT Council in a statement Tuesday which reads “arising from a conciliatory meeting at the instance of the National Assembly led by Senator Mohammed Bomoi, Chairman Senate Committee on FCT, with the FCT Minister himself in attendance, the National leadership of NLC, TUC and JUAC FCT, the planned protest scheduled for today 3rd February, 2026 and the ongoing strike are here by suspended.*
