Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has received leaders of the business community from the Daura Zone, who paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Katsina yesterday.
The delegation commended the governor for his policies and achievements aimed at strengthening the state’s economy and promoting overall development.
Speaking during the visit, Governor Radda expressed appreciation to the business leaders for the visit and their words of encouragement. He described the support of the business community as critical to achieving sustainable economic growth and job creation in the state.

The governor urged the business leaders to conduct their activities with integrity, discipline, and a strong sense of social responsibility, stressing that ethical business practices are essential for long-term development and public trust.
Governor Radda reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to policies that support entrepreneurs, attract investment, and strengthen the state’s economy.
He assured the delegation that his government would continue to engage stakeholders across all sectors, including the business community, to ensure inclusive growth and lasting prosperity for Katsina State.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Alhaji Ibrahim Abbad Daura, CEO of Kana Taka Trading, said the Daura Zone business community was encouraged by Governor Radda’s commitment to good governance, economic reforms, and the creation of an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
He noted that the administration’s efforts in improving security, developing infrastructure, and promoting transparency have increased confidence among investors and local entrepreneurs.
According to him, the visit was to formally appreciate what the governor “is doing and has already done” for Katsina State, particularly initiatives that support commerce, trade, and private sector growth.
He added that the Daura Zone business community stands firmly behind the administration and pledged its continued support to ensure the success of Governor Radda’s development agenda.
