Sen ‘Yar’adua Supports Banditry Victims

Senator AbdulAziz Musa Yar’adua of Katsina Central has supported victims of banditry in Agira and Karare Villages of Rimi local government area.

Recently, bandits attacked communities of Agira in Kadandani Ward and Karare of Majen Gobir Ward at night killing one person each and cartered away animals and valuables, leaving the two communities in agony.

Out of sympathy, the Senator delegated a team under the leadership of Alhaji Tanimu Garba Abubakar to console and condole the families of the victims, Chairman of the Local Council and the entire people of the LGA.

On arrival, the team visited the Chairman of the LGA Hon Muhammad Ali Rimi in his office to condole him, later proceeded to Agira and Karare Villages.

At the office of the Local Council Chairman, shortly after commiserating with the Chairman on behalf of the Senator, the leader of the delegation Alhaji Tanimu Garba Abubakar spoke extensively on the gigantic contributions of Senator AbdulAziz Yar’adua on issues of insecurity ranging from repairs of Armoured Personnel Carriers(APC), financing repairs and fuelling patrol vehicles for Civilian JTF taking care of Batsari, Safana and Danmusa axis.

Others according to Alhaji Tanimu Garba include the Senator’s efforts of deploying Army personnel to clear insurgency in Wurma, Kurfi local government and many more across his Senatorial Districts.

He presented a cash assistance of N200,000 to support the on going training exercise of Vigilante personnel to strengthen security across the LGA and announced another cash support of N500,000 each for victoms in Agira and Karare Villages.

On his part, the Chairman of the local council Hon. Muhammad Ali Rimi thanked and applauded the foresight of the Senator for identifying with his constituents. This according to him, will earn him confidence there by ginger his Constituents to rally round his viable representation.

Later, the team physically visited the two affected communities where it commiserated with the communities and family of the victims and presented the support of N500,000 to two Village Heads of the affected communities.

In their separate remarks, the Village Heads of Agira and Karare communities applauded the Senator’s unwavering commitment in his representation in the Senate and thanked him for the commissration and support, assuring their continued support to ensure success in the 2027 general elections.

Other notable personalities of local council that spoke at the occasion include the Member representing Rimi LGA at the State House of Assembly Hon. AbdulRahman Kurabau, representative of the local council Chairman and Councillors of the respective community affected by banditry among others.

Other members of the Senator’s delegation include Major Yahaya Rimi (rtd), Alhaji Umar Faroukh AK, Alhaji Umaru Mati, Alhaji Shehu Kafinta, Alhaji Mukhlisin, Dr. Jamilu F/Musa, Dr. AbdulRahman Aliyu and Muhammad Mai Photo among others.
