The  Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria   is a   law-making and oversight institution  . A Senator’s primary duty is to:
1.  Make Laws (Bills): Sponsor and pass bills that address the fundamental needs, security, and development of the nation and their constituents.
2.  Representation: Voice the concerns of their constituents on the national stage.
3.  Oversight: Scrutinize and hold the executive arm accountable for the implementation of policies and budgets.
Today, we highlight the work of Distinguished Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’Adua, who has embraced this true legislative mandate to serve the people of Katsina Central Senatorial District.
Since his election, Senator Yar’Adua has been an active and impactful legislator, focusing on security, economic development, and constitutional reforms.
