The All Progressives Congress, APC is set to consolidate its gip on Kafur Local Government Area in Kstsina State, Northwest Nigeria.

The ceremony signifies the commence ment of the local council election campaigns in the local government. Kafur Local Government Council has 10 wards that include Kafur, Masari, Yaribori, Sabuwar. Kasa, Gozaki, Kanya/ Dutsen Kura Others are Mahuta, Gamzago, Dantutture and Rugoji ‘Yartalata.
The gathering attracted APC stakeholders and supporters who throwing the venue in their thousands. The mammoth crowd was led by Rt Hon Aminu Bello Masari, former speaker of the House of Representative and immediate past governor of Katsina State, Hon. Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Assistant to, President Tinubu on Political Affairs Hon. Aminu Ibrahim Kafur Member Representing Malumfashi/ Kafur Federal Constituency,
Hon. Shuaibu Wakili, Member Katsina State representing Kafur Local Government, Hon. Bello Kajara Commissioner of Financial, Katsina State.
Others were Hon. Garba Kanya Chairman Kafur Local Government, Alhaji Bala Abu Musawa, state APC Vice Chairman, Alh Ibrahim Danjuma, Zonal Vice Chairman of the APC and several others.
Although there were no long speeches at the occasion, all speakers called on sought for more commitment to ideals and vision of the APC, emphasizing that Kafur Local Government has built a reputation of delivering large votes during elections, and its the responsibility of the people to maintain the prestigious and envious position.
They also reminded the gathering that Kafur Local Government is second biggest beneficiary of the APC since its establishment in 2014. It was recalled that Kafur Local Government produced the first APC governor who lead Katsina State for eight years.
Currently Kafur Local Government produced Hon. Ibrahim Kabir Masari, Special Assistant to President Tinubu on Political Affairs who was nominated to held Tinubu’s Vice Presidential position before Sen Shettima was finally appointed as substantive vice president..
The local council elections in Kafur is not only about winning but to further showcase the capacity and the will of voters in strengthening democratic ideals through free and fair elections.
