Construction of Jega township road commences

The House of Representatives member under the platform of Peoples Democratic  (PDP) representing Gwandu/Aleiro/Jega Federal Constituency in Kebbi State, Hon Mansur Musa Jega has flagged off the construction of 6.8 kilometres township road in Jega under Jega local government area of Kebbi State.

 During the flag  off of the construction project,  the Zonal Vice Chairman of PDP Kebbi Central District,  Haruna Haruna Mai-Jega commended the member for securing such important project which he described as beneficial to the people of his Constituency.

 ” We knew this type of project would not be easy to secure it from the national assembly but, we are not surprised for our member,  Hon Musa to get this due to his struggle and caring he has to the people of his Constituency ” Mai- Jega said.

”  We believe that more projects of this nature will come from Hon Musa to other areas of his constituency such as Gwandu and Aleiro local government areas in Kebbi State. .

 Speaking shortly Hon Mansur Musa Jega said the construction of the 6.8 kilometres road which he secured from the national assembly with the support of his colleagues will cover from the eastern gate  to Gidan Muson down to Tanko Yawale house in Jega town.

According to him,  the township link road will also cover culverts and a drainage system so as to mitigate the lingering flows of downpour to houses and shops during the raining season.

  ” The areas where construction work will follow were the most affected victims in terms of flood disaster during the rainfall ” Hon Musa said.

But by the time we complete this link road in this area, residents and shops owners and other beneficial in Jega town will move safely to other areas during the raining season. ” he added.

He promised to extend such gesture to two other local government areas of his Constituency .
