The Zamfara State Governor Dr Dauda Lawal has approve some appointments to strengthen his administration.
Conveying the approval, the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Abubakar Mohammed Nakwada said the appointments take immediate effect:
A statement signed and issued by Suleman Ahmad Tudu ,Senior Special Assistant (Media), Office of the Secretary to the State Government said those approved for new appointments are:
1. Abubakar Bello Ruwan Dorowa – Executive Chairman, State and Local Government Contributory Pension Commission
2. Dalhatu Tukur Mohammed – Managing Director, Zamfara State Housing Corporation
3. Abubakar Maigari Ibrahim – Managing Director, Zamfara Agricultural Development Programme (ZADP)
4. Bello Muhammad Jekada – Registrar, Zamfara State College of Education, Maru
5. Builder Jibo Dango – Senior Special Assistant on Construction (under the Infrastructure and Urban Renewal Projects)
6. Ibrahim Lawal – Senior Special Assistant (Domestic Affairs), Office of the First Lady
Malam Abubakar Ruwan Dorowa holds a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and is a retired Permanent Secretary in the State Civil Service.
The new MD for Housing Corporation holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Finance and has served in different capacities both in the private and public sectors, including Managing Director of the Mindal Global Resources, Lagos.
Mr Maigari Ibrahim holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics and has over three decades of experience in the federal civil service. He also served in many positions including Board Member, National Council for Management Development.
The new Registrar for COE Maru holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and is one of the pioneer non-academic staff in the college. He served in different capacities including a Deputy Registrar, Establishment and an Acting Registrar.
Governor Lawal expects the appointees to work diligently with utmost integrity and dedication towards deriving the Rescue Agenda in their various offices.
